  • We spent a week in Medellin and cannot wait to return. Su Casa is clean, friendly and safe. It is close to all the action and our gracious hosts were at our beck and call to help us plan our tour of the sites, help us with our lame spanish, and personally guide us through the streets of the city. We were then driven through the backwaters of Colombia to the finca for an unforgettable three days of relaxation and amazing cuisine perched high in the mountains quite literally at the top of the world. We give this place a five star rating for comfort and hospitality. -Jon and Helen B.

  • Marcela and Noah were extremely knowledgeable of the city and its history, architecture, food, transportation, and shopping. Marcela gave us a personal tour of the Botero Museum that was like having a personal Botero guide. Rodrigo and his crew took us on an amazing trek up a mountain to go waterfall rappelling. They were fun but also made me feel safe. Noah and Marcela's home had wonderfully soft beds, a great bathroom with a hot shower. Access to a full kitchen with an amazing chef (Noah). A beautiful rooftop terrace, perfect for enjoying wine and a game of cards. Being able to wash our clothes was a definite plus, as well as having wifi and use of a computer. Colombia was my first big trip out of the country and it gave me a lot to brag about. I have told all of my friends and family that if they are thinking about traveling they must go to Colombia. I would definitely recommend Medellin, a city I feel most tourists pass up. Bogota needs less time, and the coast is beautiful but more tourists. -Haileigh M.
